Central Air Conditioning Probloem?
The outside unit runs but the in the in side unit in the furnace does not. I turned to thermostat to on and auto and it would not run. There is a square box bolted to the inside of the furnace with brown and black wires running to it and it looks like some of the solder has come off that attaches the part that holds the screw for two wires. I wiggled it and the blower motor came on for a few seconds and ran very slow. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. Help please?
what does the fan relay look like?
Okay, not 100% sure here, but from your description you have a bad blower motor and a bad blower relay. It is not uncommon for high amperage being drawn from a failing blower motor to cause a relay to fail. You are best off calling a heating/ac company to look at it. That is the best way to know for sure.
