Why is it that all the junkyards in my area say they don't have 91's any more? That it's too old of a car.?

So I'm trying to find used parts for my 1991 Dodge Shadow convertible and all the junkyards tell me they don't have cars that old....maybe I'm wrong on this but if I had a new car I wouldn't want old parts. What the****!

The cars in junkyards usually get stripped of all good parts in 10 to 15 years. You have too remember by 94 that was an old car and was owned most likely by someone who was not willing to buy new parts. They just do not have cars left of that age with good parts. Once a car runs out of good parts they shred or crush it and sell it as scrap metal to be melted down and used in new cars and stuff.
